A step in the wrong direction, Ferry Fiasco, Port Glasgow. 16 July 2023 8 images Created 16 Jul 2023

*File photo dated 3 July 2023*
Port Glasgow, Scotland, UK. 16 July 2023.
PICTURED: A close up view of the affected stairs. A worker inspects the yellow and brown coloured stains cover old-looking stairs which appear to be too narrow compared to the stairs behind them which are painted in brilliant white.
The Glen Sannox Ferry fiasco continues with another twist. The wrong stairs have been fitted on hull 802. It appears that the stairs look to be too narrow. The ferry has been hit by a large number of delays, marred in controversy and hugely over budget. It is expected to now sail sometime in 2024.
