Large plumes of dark smoke can be seen from miles away as the building of the former Gartsherrie Primary School in Coatbridge is seen on fire, with locals out in the streets watching as the fire crews try to put out the flames. The building is seen with the roof now collapsed in on itself and police pushing the cordoned taped areas further back, warning locals to go back into their houses.
