PICTURED: Women’s rights campaigners stage protest against male transgender prisoners being housed in women’s prisons at Polmont Prison. The protest coincides with the Scottish Prison Service (SPS) review of their transgender prisoner’s policy and is part of a series of protests and actions across Scotland. Campaigners are also seeking to highlight the risks that the proposed gender recognition reform presents to single sex spaces and to the rights of women and girls more generally.
