Yesterday Newcastle United AKA ‘The Magpies’ flew from Newcastle into Glasgow Airport on a private chartered ATR42 prop plane, before taking on The Glasgow Rangers beating them 2-1 at Ibrox Stadium last night. They now fly on to the USA onboard a Boeing 747-400 Atlas Air (reg N322SG) which flew into Glasgow over 24 hours earlier preparing for todays flight to Atlanta. The team fly to the states to take on Aston Villa Football Team on 23rd July.
Atlas Air operate their VIP Service 747, which can carry 189 passengers in total and, as per the carrier's website, is configured for VIP service, with ten first class suites, 143 seats in business class, and 36 seats in economy.
