Glasgow, Scotland, UK. 11 May 2024.
PICTURED: A silhouette of a dead seen against the backdrop of the Aurora lights.
Northern Lights make a rare appearance as clear skies give star gazers all over the country a ring side view of a dancing display of ribbons of light, of yellow, green, blue, purple and red, as the Aurora Borealis shines bright from the heavens above. One of the strongest geomagnetic storms for years is hitting the earth and the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has issued a rare solar storm warning.
