Glasgow Airport Authority have placed 2 notices taped to the 2nd forward port side passenger door advising that the aircraft is grounded due to unpaid landing fees. Notice (top in pic) from Cicil Aviation Authority stuck onto the side of Thomas Cook Airbus A330-200 with 'sorry not in use' sticky tape which reads:
"This AIRBUS A332 aircraft type, registration G-TCXC, has been detained on behalf of the Cicil Aviation Authority, acting on the instructions of Eurocontrol and of National Air Traffic Services by the undersigned, and authorised person for the purpose under the provisions of The Civil Aviation (Chargeable Air Services) (Detention and Sale of Aircraft for Eurocontrol) Regulations 2001 and The Civil Aviation (Chargeable Air Services) (Detention and Sale of Aircraft) Regulations 2001 pending settlement of the charges due under the said Regulations."

"DETENTION UNDER SECTION [illegible] OF THE CIVIL AVIATION ACT [illegible]
Dear Sir
Default has been made in the payment of airport charges incurred [illegible] of aircraft registration(s) GTCDD, GTCDM, GTCDG, GTCXC.
Glasgow Airport Ltd hereby give you notice that in exercise of its right of detention under S.88 Civil Aviation Act 1982, aircraft registrations(s) GTCDD, GTCDM, GTCDG, GTCXC, is/are detained at Glasgow Airport and is/are not to be removed from the airport until the charges outstanding at Glasgow Airport incurred in respect of the aircraft and all other aircraft of which your company is the operator at the time that the detention began have been identified.
This notice is hereby given to THOMAS COOK and any subsidiary and associated companies which are affected by the detention hereby exercised. Yours faithfully."
