Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. 3 February 2021.
Pictured: Ahead of a debate and vote in the Scottish Parliament to decide whether the Scottish Government should investigate Donald Trump’s financing of Scottish golf courses, campaigners will depict a fake Trump wearing a giant head, red tie and carrying a sign saying “Investigate Me!” outside the Scottish Parliament. He will also be dragging his golf bag overflowing with dollar bills.

The action seeks to call attention to the Scottish government’s failure to investigate Trump’s dealings in Scotland -- even although leading lawyers say it is up to Scottish ministers to pursue an Unexplained Wealth Order, or so-called “McMafia” order. Avaaz members will be tweeting at their own MSPs asking how they intend to vote.
