Edinburgh, 14 May 2019. Mental Health Minister, Clare Haughey, joins Girlguiding Scotland members to discuss the impact of body image on mental health and wellbeing. Ms Haughey announces the remit of the new Advisory Group on MEntal Body Image, which will identify steps to improve support for young people. The Minister meets with Girlguides of all ages to discuss their experience of body image and how this can affect their mental health, and about any other pressures that impact them.
