Pictured: A backdrop of grounded British Airways (BA) Airbus A319/A320/A321 aircraft sit the second runway of Glasgow Airport awaiting their fate of being sold off or put in storage. Since March these planes have been sitting idle on the the airports tarmac, doe to the global coronavirus (COVID19) crisis. British Airways have cut almost 12,000 staff, and to date have retired their whole Boeing 747 fleet in a bid to cut operating costs.
