Highland Region Border, Pass of Drumochter, Scotland, UK. 10 August 2020
Pictured: Sean Clerkin of Action For Scotland is protesting today at the Highland Region Border, by calling on the First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon to stop people from England travelling to the Highlands and Islands to stop the spread of COVID-19 from happening in this part of Scotland through non-essential travel.

Sean said: Only local people who live in the Islands should be allowed to travel to the islands ferry.

The UK Authorities brought in quarantine for British tourists coming back from Spain when Spain had 27 COVID-19 cases per 100,000. In places such as Blackburn COVID19 is 82.6 per 100,000, Oldham is 66.6 per 100,000 and Manchester is 31 per 100,000 therefore it is very important to close the border to people coming up from England.
